Congratulations to Mr. A-Z for writing one of the most touching songs I’ve heard in a long time. I listened to this song, the day he released it, for for 2 hours straight on repeat. The first time I heard it I ran and got my wife and my son and made them listen to it too. It says exactly how I feel about them. Jason’s vocal is so sincere in his recording, I just hope I was able to do it justice. I was definitely feeling it. I put my back into it.

I wanted to have this song up for New Years Eve, but better late than never. I love the lyrics to this song. I share the sentiment of it all. Hope you guys enjoyed my version. I used an MBox Mini w/ ProTools LE 8. All the drums, piano, and strings were done with my M-Audio KeyRig 49 using ProTools’ Expand 2 and MiniGrand Plug-Ins. That’s an old Epiphone Les Paul in the video which I ran through ProTools’ Eleven Plug-In. The vocals went through my Shure KSM27 into a PreSonus TubePre. That’s home studio magic!
